This year alone they ll procure nearly £1.5bn worth of medical and health related products. You ll need to be a good line manager or have the knowledge and skills to grow into one. Experience of developing junior staff members or being a well established officer is key. The type of procurement we do is end to end and often quite technical. People used to running full tender exercises (not quotes or purchasing from a PSL) are encouraged to throw their hat in the ring.
