This role is ideal for someone passionate about developing children''s communication skills and confident working with structured speech and language strategies. About the Role Working closely with the class teacher and external SALT professionals, you will play a key part in helping both pupils develop their expressive and receptive language, social interaction, and confidence. This is a hands-on role where your consistency and communication style will directly influence pupil progress. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include: Providing 1:1 and small-group support targeting speech, language and communication Delivering SALT-led interventions and modelling language throughout the school day Using visuals, PECS, Makaton or other communication tools to support understanding Encouraging turn-taking, attention and listening, and social interaction during learning and play Supporting learning during English, maths and topic lessons, adapting tasks where needed Tracking progress and feeding back to teachers and ..... full job details .....
