HGV Technician / Truck Mechanic43000 - 45000/annumCardiffDescriptionQuestech Automotive Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of our client, who is an Automotive market leader in the UK, who are recruiting for experienced Vehicle Technicians on a permanent basis.We are looking for Technicians / Mechanics from a HGV or PSV background.Shifts include: Monday to Friday - Days and Lates4 on 4 off - Days, Lates and NightsThis is based on a min 40-hour week.If you are a level 3 qualified Technician with a proven track record as a Mechanic then we would love to hear from you. Time served Technicians will also be considered.The role of HGV Technician / Truck Mechanic:Electrical, mechanical and hydraulic fault diagnosis, repair and installationSetting and operating of machine tools and equipmentSupport workshops team members including Apprentice Technicians as required.Accurately record time to complete jobs and associated detailsUse of skills and performance of other work within normal grade/job skills as required by the Workshop Supervisor to maximise workshop efficiencySkills and Experience of HGV Technician / Truck Mechanic:Level 3 Motor Vehicle Mechanics City and Guilds/NVQ or equivalent.4 Years + as a HGV MechanicPrevious experience as a qualified Fitter/Mechanic/EngineerPossession of own toolsDriving licence is a mustClass 1 or 2 licence is desirableQuestech Recruitment is a specialist engineering support within the road transport industry, our focus is to support many clients within the truck and bus sectors across the UK.
