Our client, a partner of the UK''s Ministry of Defence, is seeking an experienced Electronics Engineer to join their Calibration and Maintenance Team. The role involves servicing Electrical and Electronic Test Equipment, including Special to Type Test Equipment (STTE). Responsibilities include fault finding and repair of test equipment, supporting routine calibrations, commissioning of test equipment, and conducting drift analysis. The ideal candidate will work within a skilled team of Calibration and Maintenance Engineers, supporting complex test platforms used in the manufacture and testing of advanced missile systems. You will receive training to calibrate and support specialized factory test equipment, utilizing a range of technologies from DC to Microwave. Key Responsibilities:Assist the Operators and Technicians working in the CandM department.Responsible for maintaining and repairing Test and measuring equipment at the component level.Generate clear and comprehensive calibration and maintenance records for traceability purposes.Test the safety systems of Test and measuring equipment following documented procedures.Responsible for commissioning and accepting test facilities, ensuring that the equipment and facilities are configured correctly and that there is proper control over the configuration.Provide Technical support to facilitate the efficient servicing of STTE to enable production testing of hardware and repair phases of the contract-assessment of related ..... full job details .....
