Elvet Recruitment are recruiting a Site Manager on behalf of a long-standing regional groundworks and civil engineering contractor to manage project in the Bradford area. The initial project will run for 18 months and includes 110 new plotworks to DPC as well as associated groundworks. The contractor are well known for their growth in recent years and are currently operating with a turnover of nearly 100m across NE and Yorkshire. Comfortable management systems in place and a structured organisation with large management team - meaning your job as Site Manager is made as smooth as possible. Future packages will cover roads and sewers, plotworks and groundworks packages to new-build residential sites mainly with some commercial. Package values are up to 10m. Based out of a central office in West Yorkshire with ongoing works currently in Bradford, Leeds, Wakefield and surrounding areas. Duties: Daily running of site - as PC for site setup then as sub-contractor to housing developer. Ordering materials and managing supply chain. Writing RAMS and site documentation. Daily site diaries. Planning work - 2,3 and 4 week look-aheads. Monitoring progress against KPI''s to achieve site deadlines. Liaison with local authorities and developers. Experience Required: Must have proven experience working as Site Manager on groundworks and plotworks to DPC projects. Must be fully capable of running packages with values 4m+.
