Engineering Manager £500/day GMP Manufacturing Location: South Wales Contract: Day Rate £450 £500/day Duration: 6 Months We re seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead engineering and maintenance operations at a high-performing GMP manufacturing site, ensuring quality, compliance, and on-time delivery. You ll be the driving force behind regulatory excellence, equipment reliability, and continuous improvement, supporting manufacturing plans and ensuring uninterrupted supply. Key Responsibilities: Lead and optimise engineering/maintenance activities for maximum efficiency and cGMP compliance. Oversee installation, commissioning, and maintenance of facilities, plant, and critical systems. Maintain high service levels with clear KPIs and robust quality controls. Drive continuous improvement culture and provide training to develop team capability. Collaborate with QA and Production to troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions. Keep the team aligned with industry best practices and regulatory standards. About You: Degree (or equivalent) in an engineering/maintenance discipline. Extensive experience in GMP or a regulated production environment (aerospace, automotive, food, Pharma ). Proven project management and leadership skills. Strong communicator with strategic thinking abilities. Able to thrive under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and inspire a team.
