We are currently looking for an experienced-HGV Class 2 Driver (Category C)-to join our client-in-Colchester, delivering foodservice products to our customers across Essex and surrounding areas.

This is a-multi-drop delivery driver role, where you will be the face of the business, ensuring customers receive their deliveries safely, accurately and on time.

About the Role

As an-HGV Class 2 multi-drop driver, you will be responsible for delivering foodservice products to a wide range of hospitality customers including restaurants, pubs, schools and care homes.

This role is-hands-on and physically active, involving manual handling and customer interaction throughout the day.

Typical responsibilities include:

• Driving a-Class 2 rigid vehicle-on scheduled delivery routes
• Completing-multi-drop deliveries-to hospitality customers
• Safely unloading goods using appropriate equipment
• Ensuring orders are delivered-accurately and on time
• Providing friendly, professional service as the-face of Pilgrim Foodservice
• Carrying out daily-vehicle safety checks and driver compliance requirements

What We Are Looking For

To be successful in this role you will need:

• A-valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) driving licence
• Driver CPC qualification
• Digital Tachograph Card
• Previous experience as a-multi-drop delivery driver
• A strong work ethic and good attention to detail
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• The physical capability required for-manual handling and foodservice deliveries
