MONDAY - THURSDAY

Responsibilities

• Operate MIG welding equipment to fabricate and assemble metal components.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications to determine the appropriate welding processes.
• Perform welding tasks on sheet metal and other materials as required.
• Use hand tools and power tools effectively to prepare materials for welding.
• Inspect finished welds for quality and adherence to specifications.
• Maintain a clean and organised work area, ensuring all safety protocols are followed.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines.

Skills

• Proficient in MIG welding techniques with experience in stick welding as an advantage.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Familiarity with sheet metal fabrication processes.
• Competent in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
• Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations related to welding tasks.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating good communication skills.
