Our prestigious Hereford-based client is currently seeking a Maintenance Engineer to join their Site Operations team to maintain and repair the plant and equipment on site through a combination of planned and reactive maintenance. Main Duties and Responsibilities; Conduct routine inspections of equipment Perform preventative maintenance Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues and correcting them Ensure quick reaction to any breakdowns that occur Maintain key spares for equipment and spare items of equipment Maintain good level of housekeeping in maintenance room Ensure all process equipment is maintained in a safe state Additional Tasks/Areas for Development; General repair and upkeep of the building infrastructure Control of contractors on site Maintain accurate records Schedule PPM and repairs for equipment Produce costed item list for any planned works Knowledge, Experience and Skills Required; Excellent knowledge of process equipment Understanding of processes Wide range of relevant skills Qualifications; Formal maintenance/engineering qualification (desirable) Electrical Qualifications (City and Guilds or equivalent) About You; Able to work as part of a team or individually Meticulous attention to detail Working Hours: Monday to Friday, Full-time, Permanent 09:00 - 17:00 Expected hours: 37.5 per ..... full job details .....
