If you are passionate about IT security and want to be part of a dynamic team that is shaping the future of security within a successful global company, we want to hear from you!We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of IT Security Incident and Threat Management to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the strategic efforts to safeguard the company\''s digital assets against potential threats and incidents. This role requires a seasoned professional with a deep understanding of cybersecurity, incident response and threat management within a FTSE 100 environment.The salary on offer for this position is between £90,000 and £110,000 per annum plus benefits.Please note this role is based on site for the first 3 months followed by a hybrid working arrangement.Responsibilities
Develop and implement comprehensive incident response strategies to address security threats swiftly and effectivelyLead the threat and intelligence program, ensuring timely detection and mitigation of cyber risksEnsure compliance with relevant security standards and regulationsConduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and enhance defencesProvide day-to-day leadership and support to three direct reports, helping to develop their skills and ensure consistent delivery. Enable the growth of individuals through effective performance managementStay current with industry trends and emerging threats, adapting strategies accordinglyRepresent the company at industry events and conferences, promoting our commitment to cybersecurity excellenceInterface to SOC (external supplier) - ensure they are proactively taking action and, when we see new and emerging threats, recommendations are made to enhance our security postureCritical Skills for Success
Bachelor\''s or Master\''s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related fieldExtensive experience in incident response, threat management, and cybersecurity within a large organizationProven track record of leading and managing IT security teamsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and collaboration abilitiesAbility to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environmentWillingness to travel occasionally to company locations and industry eventsInterested?!
