This is a fast-paced and rewarding role where you will play a key part in safeguarding children and supporting families at the point of referral and assessment.Working within statutory frameworks, you will complete timely and high-quality assessments to ensure children receive the right support and protection when they need it most.Key ResponsibilitiesUndertake Section 17 and Section 47 enquiries.Complete Child and Family Assessments within statutory timescales.Carry out home visits and direct work with children and families.Work collaboratively with partner agencies to ensure effective safeguarding outcomes.Prepare clear, analytical reports and attend court where required.Manage a varied caseload in line with legislation and local procedures.RequirementsQualified Social Worker with current Social Work England registration.Experience within a Children''s Assessment or Duty Team.Strong safeguarding knowledge and assessment skills.Ability to work effectively in a busy, fast-paced environment.Excellent report writing and analytical skills.What''s on ..... full job details .....
