Family Assessment Worker - Nights First Blue Family Assessment are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Family Assessment Worker to join our team at a Residential Family Centre based in Stafford. Our Family Assessment Workers will provide a range of support services to families residing in the centre, with the aim of promoting their well-being, enhancing family dynamics, and facilitating their successful transition to independent living. Family Assessment Worker - Nights Responsibilities: 1. Engage with families in a compassionate and non-judgemental manner, building rapport and trust to establish positive working relationships. 2. Provide practical and emotional support to families, offering guidance on parenting skills, child development, budgeting, and navigating community resources. 3. Assess and address potential safeguarding concerns, reporting any instances of abuse or neglect and ensuring appropriate action is taken 4. Implement activities and interventions in accordance with the National Minimum Standards for Family Residential Centres to promote the well-being and development of families, including but not limited to: - Facilitating parent-child interaction sessions, promoting positive parenting techniques, and enhancing family communication. - Supporting families in accessing education, employment, and training opportunities to enhance their overall self-sufficiency. - Assisting families in developing essential life skills, including cooking, cleaning, and ..... full job details .....
