REED Engineering and Manufacturing are working with a leading Manufacturing company.Quality Team Leader Work with other dept heads to ensure rework of non-conforming product is completed in a timely manner. Record and communicate all non-conformance found from internal processes on the internal quality management database - internal and communicated daily. Ensure measuring equipment is kept in good working order and calibrated accordingly where necessary. Communicate Supplier Issues and work with the procurement team to manage non-conformance. Work with production and despatch teams to prioritise work accordingly. Communicate identified defects promptly to team leaders and collaborate on corrective actions for timely resolution to ensure delivery on time, in full and to the required quality Ensure adherence to health and safety during inspections and production activities to promote a secure workplace for all personnel.Essential ExperienceTo be considered for this role you will have previously worked as a quality inspection/ engineer and have worked in an engineering/manufacturing environment. Experience of managing a small team, working to job schedules and meeting daily targets would be advantageous but NOT Essential Be approachable with a positive attitude with the desire to lead by example. Experience of working in a busy environment and be able to work under pressure, dealing with ever changing priorities. Have excellent communication skills.
