About the Role:
We are currently seeking an experienced CNC Turner to join our clients growing precision engineering team in Manchester. This is a company built on strong values and a commitment to investing in its people.

Key Responsibilities:

• Program, set, and operate Mazak CNC lathes using Mazatrol controls
• Manufacture complex precision aerospace components to tight tolerances
• Interpret technical and engineering drawings accurately
• Adhere to AS9100 aerospace quality standards
• Carry out in-process inspection using precision measuring equipment
• Collaborate with engineering and quality teams for continuous improvement

About You:

• Proven experience as a CNC Turner, ideally in aerospace or precision engineering
• Confident with Mazak machines and Mazatrol programming
• Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Familiarity with aerospace quality standards (e.g. AS9100)
• Detail-oriented, with a proactive and quality-focused mindset

• Base hours: 08:00 - 16:30 (Mon-Thu), 08:00 - 13:00 (Fri)
• Unlimited Overtime (overtime paid at Tx1.5 for the 1st 10 hours, Tx2 after that)
• £16.00-17.00/hour base
• Overtime rates = £24-25.50/hour (1st 10 hours), and £32-34/hour after that
