Junior Accounts Assistant

Sewell Wallis is working with a leading business who are based in Doncaster, South Yorkshire. Due to expansion this client is looking to appoint a Finance Assistant on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate as they have huge plans for growth on the horizon.The right candidate for this Finance Assistant role will ideally have a couple of years experience in accounts and be a keen learner.What will you be doing?Accurately preparing sales invoicesChecking remittance advices, posting sales receipts and general sales ledger maintenanceAccurately process purchase invoices, reconcile supplier accounts and implementing weekly BACS payment runs for authorisationBank reconciliationsAssisting with month end, all tasks to be completed by 5 working days following month endHelping to implement new processes and proceduresWhat skills are we looking for?Experience in a transactional role and be able to work to tight deadlines in a fast paced environment.Accurate and timely data entry skillsStrong attention to detail, and the ability to prioritise own workload effectivelyKnowledge of Sage 50 and Xero is highly desirable but not essentialKnowledge of Excel is essentialWhat''s on offer?Salary range 28,000 to 30,000 FTE20 days annual leave (plus bank holidays)Free on site parking Apply below or contact Lewis for more information.To apply please send your CV, quoting our reference and specifying which website you saw this position advertised on.
