Our client is a well-respected builders merchants with branches across the UK. They are currently looking to recruit a Yardman & Relief HGV Class 2 Driver at their Mansfield branch in Nottinghamshire. This is a full-time permanent position.

What to expect

You will be responsible of the effective running of the warehouse/yard, ensuring stock is checked, handled and stored correctly, satisfying customer orders by carrying out goods-received and general warehouse/yard duties. In addition, you will be the Class 2 Relief driver, covering holiday and sickness. You''ll be loading and unloading, and supporting team members when needed.

• Providing an efficient, timely and dependable delivery service
• Carrying out appropriate vehicle checks on a routine basis
• Making sure you and your vehicle are always safe and secure
• Keeping your yard clean, tidy and well organised
• Working in the yard and warehouse
• Serving customers
• Supporting your team mates

You don''t need to know about the products or the industry as full training will be provided; all you need is to:

• Have Class 2 (Category C) LGV licence
• Have a Driver Qualification Card (DQC)
• Be a big team player
• Have a really positive attitude
• Be reliable and enthusiastic
• Enjoy talking to lots of different people
