Custody Tax/Product Tax | London | Hybrid | c.£120-130,000 + Bonus + PackageWe are supporting a large custodian as they look to expand their tax team. This role reports into the Global Head of Custody Tax. This is an opportunity to join a global player in what is an incredibly exciting time for the business.We are looking for someone with detailed knowledge of securities taxation and a detailed knowledge of UK client types (such as collective investment vehicles, pension funds). Ideally, you will have prior in-house and, Big 4 experience.Responsibilities

Monitor changes in tax legislation that have an impact on the taxation of securities. You will support by reporting these back to the business as needed and assessing risk. You''ll have the business''s current needs in mind but, also future needs.Work with internal colleagues and various teams to ensure changes and impacts are communicated to clients accordingly. These teams will include the product team and operational tax team.Work with external advisors where needed - using their knowledge and expertise to support internal decision makingSupport with any tax litigation workMaintain a strong external network - helping to ensure that you keep up to date with legislation and market changesQualifications

Ideally, tax qualified (ACA/CTA or equivalent)Preference for Big 4 experience AND in-house experience but, this is not a mustStrong track record within the custodian tax spaceHow to apply
