With consistent growth, our client has created an exciting opportunity for a CAD Technician to join their growing design team based in Manchester

Role & Responsibilities:

• Generating detailed 2D/3D general arrangement and fabrication drawings from quotations using the company’s build specification and components data sheets..

• Creating detailed raw material and parts list using Microsoft Excel

• Ensuring project traceability is maintained via drawing registers, customer approval records and parts/servicing list.

• Working on multiple projects at one time.

• Working closely with suppliers and fabricators.

  Knowledge and Skills Required:

  The ideal candidate will require the following skills and experience.

• Experience of design in a similar industry or structural engineering.

• Knowledge of AutoCAD 2D/3D/Inventor (Primary software).

• Knowledge of design, engineering and AutoCAD standards.

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office – Specifically Microsoft Excel.

• Clean driving licence (some points acceptable)

• Hands-on experience and knowledge of manufacture process is advantage
