NEWLY PASSED DRIVERS ARE WELCOME Starting rate for Class 2 HGV Driver is £14.53, OT rate (after 40 hours) is £21.80 per hour We have depot Musselburgh Hours of work: Monday to Friday 6am to 3pm plus overtime after 40 hours of work. Extra shifts on Saturdays available. Duties of Class 2 HGV Driver Operate HGV in accordance with road safety regulations and company policies. Plan and follow efficient delivery routes, ensuring timely collection and drop-off of goods. Secure cargo properly to prevent damage during transit, adhering to safety standards. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, reporting any faults or issues promptly. Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs in compliance with legal requirements. Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding schedules, delays, or issues encountered on routes. Assist with loading and unloading cargo when necessary, ensuring proper handling procedures are followed. Uphold a professional appearance and behaviour when interacting with clients and colleagues. Experience required for Class 2 HGV Driver Novice Drivers are welcome Driving Licence Cat C Digital Tacho Card CPC Card Strong driving skills with no more than 6 points on driving record.
