The ideal candidate will have worked within an engineering design and manufacturing environment and ideally have automotive industry experience. The software they are ideally looking for is Catia V5, but other cad packages will be considered. Design and Production Engineer Position Overview Use of Catia V5 (surface, solid and 2D) to design exhaust systems and other automotive parts with consideration for customer cad and/or packaging data.Creation of CAD data and drawings for customer approval.Design, development, adjustment and commissioning of tools, jigs and fixtures for both Prototype and Production use and to coordinate the assemblyWork in accordance with any Legislative or company requirements for Health Safety and Environment.Working as part of the wider Engineering Design Team to achieve high quality objectives within demanding timescales.
