Overview
Paralegal/Litigation Executive to join the Marine Team based in Guildford. Handle a varied caseload of Marine claims within a growing team.Responsibilities
Handle a varied caseload of Marine claims and commercial litigation as required.Draft court documents and instruct counsel and experts where appropriate.Assess liability and quantum and prepare reports/advice.Make and respond to offers and negotiate settlement of both liability and quantum as needed.Maintain good organisational skills and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.Provide excellent client service, with strong attention to detail and teamwork.Collaborate with internal and external clients in a professional manner.Qualifications and Experience
Ideally a minimum of 12 months experience in marine or commercial litigation.Strong academic background, preferably CII or above/degree.Excellent communication skills and a professional approach to client liaison.Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve targets and SLAs.About the Team and Practice
