A welcoming primary school in Middleton (M24) is seeking an enthusiastic Early Years Teaching Assistant to join their team this September. The role will mainly involve general TA duties in the Early Years classroom, with some additional support work for children who require extra guidance in their learning and development.

Responsibilities

Supporting the class teacher with day-to-day activities in the Early Years classroom

Helping to set up engaging learning environments that encourage play, creativity and exploration

Working with small groups and individuals to support early literacy, numeracy and social skills

Providing additional support to children who may need extra help with routines and learning

Encouraging positive relationships, independence and confidence among pupils

What We''re Looking For

Previous experience working in an Early Years setting (school or nursery)

A warm, caring and adaptable approach with young children

Ability to follow the EYFS framework and promote learning through play

Strong communication skills to work effectively with staff and parents

A proactive attitude with a genuine passion for Early Years education
