About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and reliable Vehicle Electrician to join our client's team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and installing electrical harnesses and components in line with bespoke vehicle build specifications. This is a hands-on role within a fast-paced production environment, suited to someone with experience in electrical engineering, mechanical fitting, vehicle fitting or panel building.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparation and installation of vehicle electrical harnesses and boards
• Fitting 12V and higher-voltage electrical components
• Reading and interpreting electrical drawings and 3D models
• Following structured build processes and technical instructions
• Laying out and assembling custom wiring looms to specification
• Working safely and efficiently in confined or awkward spaces
• Maintaining accuracy and quality in all electrical work

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Proven experience working with 12V vehicle electrics (essential)
• Background in electrical engineering, vehicle fitting, mechanical fitting, or panel building
• Ability to interpret electrical schematics and 3D models
• A strong understanding of health and safety procedures
• Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach
• Good physical fitness – able to carry out strenuous work
• A positive attitude, with good timekeeping and reliability
• Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment (advantageous)
• Overhead crane experience (desirable – full training provided)
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification (desirable)

• Hours of work are: Mon - Thurs 07:30-16:30, Early finish on Friday 07:30-12:45 
• Competitive hourly rate starting from £13.25, depending on experience
