My client are looking to recruit a Trainee MAC Operator who is keen to learn and develop their skillset. This business works with a highly recyclable product and with has a varied customer base made up of international businesses, providing excellent job security.Role and Responsibilities:Manage and prepare customer artwork using multiple design software systems, including screenwork, trapping, proofing, FTP uploads, and maintaining organised digital plate and file storage.Coordinate artwork approvals by uploading proofs to customer portals, issuing plate specifications (colours, requirements, costs), logging samples, and ensuring full sign-off before production.Support production by inputting technical formulas, ordering plate materials, checking forward schedules, preparing trial artwork with Pre-Press and Printing teams, and ensuring proofing materials are readyContribute to departmental improvements by supporting new plate technologies, maintaining plate housekeeping ..... full job details .....
