Up to £48,000City of London officeI am representing an Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) provider for a skilled Network Engineer to join a growing team that designs, implements, and manages some of the most complex wireless and digital infrastructure in the country.Responsibilities

Implementing technical network designs, creating repeatable processes to support wider engineering and delivery teams.Configuring routers, switches, RAN equipment, and monitoring systems.Delivering network solutions for new sites, ensuring successful testing, validation, and documentation.Troubleshooting and resolving network issues during commissioning phases.Evaluating new technologies and vendors, producing test plans, and conducting integration testing.Supporting network automation through scripting and basic coding (Python), helping scale future technologies.Qualifications

Strong understanding of packet-based protocols (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, TCP, UDP, etc.) plus routing and switching expertise.Hands-on experience with IPsec VPNs (site-to-site and remote access).Proficiency with devices from Juniper, Cisco (including Nexus), MikroTik, and FortiGate.Knowledge of router and LAN switching architecture, design, and deployment.Familiarity with diagnostic tools (Tcpdump, Wireshark, NMAP, Netflow).Experience with monitoring and management platforms (OSS/NMS such as OpenNMS or similar).Exposure to network automation and Python for scripting/management.Cisco certification (CCNA or higher) is desirable.Please apply for this role with your most up to date and relevant CV.
