SEND/SEMH Learning Support Assistant
Aspire People are looking to appoint an experienced and compassionate SEND/SEMH Learning Support Assistant to join a supportive primary school team.The school is looking for someone who can confidently support children with a range of additional needs, including autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and SEMH needs. The successful candidate will play an important role in helping pupils feel supported, engaged, and successful within school.Your Responsibilities Will Include: Supporting pupils with SEND and SEMH needs throughout the school day Providing tailored 1:1 and small-group support Assisting pupils with emotional regulation and social interaction Supporting learning activities both inside and outside the classroom Working collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals Encouraging confidence, independence, and positive engagementWe Are Looking For Someone Who: Has recent experience working within a UK primary school Has experience supporting children with SEND and/or SEMH needs Is nurturing, adaptable, and proactive Can build positive relationships with children and staff Has strong communication and teamwork skills Is passionate about making a difference in educationWhy Work with Aspire People?
