Circa 72,000 depending on skills and experienceWhat Youll Be Doing
Lead the development of human factors technical strategies, policies, standards, and practices within your area of responsibility, ensuring correct application.Apply human factors technical analysis and design expertise within the maritime context to enable optimal design solutions satisfying end-user and customer needs.Provide advice and guidance to support adoption of methods and tools, adherence to policies and standards, and review and improve their usage.Collect and analyze qualitative and quantitative data as required.Define the required behavior and performance of systems, products, or services in terms of user experience, resolving conflicts between different user requirements, and specify measurable usability and accessibility criteria.Your Skills And Experiences
High understanding of the engineering lifecycle, systems engineering methodologies, including MOD HFI process.Ability to select appropriate Human Factors Engineering methodologies (e.g., Ergonomics, Task Analysis, HMI/HCI Design).Experience with HCI/UX analysis and design techniques relevant to systems engineering.Appreciation for evaluating new and emerging technologies for market competitiveness.Professional certification with a relevant body (e.g., CIEHF) or ability to achieve it.Degree in Ergonomics, Psychology, Human Factors, or equivalent qualification.Benefits
