Overview

The Earned Recognition team is a small team of enforcement professionals who provide vital support in achieving DVSA’s aims to provide safer driving, safer roads and safer journeys.This exciting role involves liaising with a range of key stakeholders and assessing compliance levels through conducting analysis of data, detailing driver’s hours and maintenance system performance indicators. You will be required to make robust decisions and recommendations and support colleagues where necessary.Base pay range

Salary:

£29,525 - plus London weighting allowance of £4,000 per annum for Yeading (London) location.Contract Type:

Permanent – Flexible working, Full-time, Job share, Part-timeKey Responsibilities

Investigating prohibitions and notices that have been issued within the business e.g. Driver’s hours or Tachograph offences, gathering evidence from internal and external sources when required to evaluate the notices.Assist with the management of the Earned Recognition Scheme mailbox, including replies to customer facing enquiries, process of accident or incident reports and Key Performance Indicators.Analysis of data and information provided by operators in regard to the Earned Recognition (ER) scheme, to assess initial application data, monitor KPI data on a regular basis, and to liaise with relevant operators to agree required actions, conduct DBA, or other supportive actions.Benefits

To succeed in this role, you will have the following;The ability to conduct analysis of data, and systems assessments to accurately review and assess levels of compliance.Be able to make decisions and recommendations based on evidence, enabling appropriate types of follow up actions to be made.To develop and maintain good relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders / customers, to achieve required tasks.Excellent oral and written communication skills, including handling challenging conversations.Ability to probe for further information and to pay particular attention to detail.To be a valuable team member, as well as the ability to work alone effectively, willing to attend events to speak about Enforcement, DVSA and the Earned Recognition Scheme.Good knowledge of the transport industry and/or a law enforcement role.How to Apply
