My client, a market leading Sustainability Consultancy who specialise in sustainable and Eco-friendly builds, is searching for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join their team in Leamington Spa. You will be required to work from the office on a hybrid basis, 4 days a week. As a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer you will join an experienced team to complete HVAC designs for residential, commercial, retail, colleges, storage units, museums and healthcare facilities. As Senior Mechanical Design Engineer you will be expected to complete detailed mechanical designs including heating, ventilation, domestic hot and cold water systems and air-conditioning using AutoCAD and Revit. You will also be expected to complete 2D and 3D models, perform heat load calculations, thermal comfort modelling (TM52/TM59), IES energy modelling and digital twin simulation, duct sizing, pipe sizing, and equipment selection using relevant software (e.g. Revit, AutoCAD, HAP, or Elite).You will also prepare and review mechanical drawings, schematics, simulations and technical specifications in accordance with building codes, sustainability goals, and project requirements.Site visits will also be necessary, across the local area to check design clashes.
