Health and Safety Manager

You will work for a construction and design consultancy based in the East Midlands. They have operated across the public sector for the last 60 years and continue to grow their business.
Your new role
You will work as a Health and Safety Manager, playing a pivotal role in ensuring that all projects meet legal safety standards and promote a culture of proactive risk management. Key duties are:
- Develop and implement health and safety policies tailored to construction environments
- Conduct site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with regulations like CDM
- Advise project teams and clients on safe working practices throughout the project lifecycle
- Review risk assessments and method statements for accuracy and relevance
- Deliver training sessions to raise awareness and improve safety performance
What you''ll need to succeed
- NEBOSH Certificate or Diploma (or equivalent)
- Membership with IOSH or CMIOSH is often preferred
- Strong understanding of UK construction regulations and CDM 2015
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client-facing work
- Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to fast-paced environments
