Drive the UK Solution Architecture and Technology Consulting Practice, working in close collaboration with the practice leadership team to shape the technology, business and strategic direction of large-scale client projects across different industry sectorsLead and inspire a team of Solution Architects and Technology Consultants, providing strategic guidance, clear direction, fostering their professional growth and developmentUse your experience as a deep hands-on technologist and trusted advisor to demonstrate strong credibility working with engineering teams up to CxO level both in EPAM and within our clientsProvide consulting services covering areas such as architectural review, audit, architectural road-mapping and technical governance across multiple projectsFormulate and present technology business cases across architecture, technology, strategy, IT organisational change managementDirect our technology consultancy efforts in both sales/pre-sales, Request for Proposals (RFPs) and Proof of Concepts (POCs) ensuring that we deliver impactful, results-driven solutionsAct as a liaison between architects, consultants, delivery managers, product managers and development teamsRepresenting EPAM at internal and external conferences, enhancing our visibility and thought leadership in the industryREQUIREMENTS

Bachelor''s/Master''s degree in Computer Science or similar or strong relevant work experienceIndustry visionary, avid technologist at heart and a senior proven leader who can drive a Solution Architecture and Technology Consulting capability in a large consulting organisationProven experience acting as a hands-on Senior/Lead/Chief Architect, Director of Architecture/Technology Consulting or CTO with a strong foundation in software development, platform delivery, architecture design, digital transformation and comfortable partnering with teams up to CxO levelWell-versed in development of Enterprise and Solution Architecture, including governance, business drivers, technology and change management as well as deep understanding of architecture qualities such as: security, scalability, resiliency and availability in high performance low latency systemsGood industry experience, ideally in Financial Services/Payments and Insurance with excellent understanding of major functional capabilities and common platform solutions across these sectorsAble to think outside the box, drive end-to-end initiatives and engagements, understand the complexity and relative timeframes of creating a roadmap for replacing a core capability in a global multinational organisationExperience defining composable architectures, designing enterprise services or integration capabilities using REST APIs and event-driven technology as well as leveraging native Cloud services (Azure, AWS or GCP), decentralized systems and AI - particularly in the practical application of large language modelsStrong experience working closely with multi-disciplinary project teams and delivering technology streams for large scale complex transformation projects whilst being able to help clients make the right technology choices for the ultimate success of their businessExcellent client-facing experience with the ability to influence and guide senior management on technical solutions combined with a consultative, problem-solving approachComfortable presenting at conferences, engaging in pre-sales activities, offering advisory support, responding to Request for Proposals (RFPs) and developing Proofs of Concept (POCs)WE OFFER
