Working for a global company based near Burnley, we are looking for a Press Brake Operator on a permanent basis. Full time position, working hours are Monday to Thursday 7am till 4.30pm and it is a standard 40 hour working week. Overtime is available on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Core Responsibilities Experience of setting and using Amada HFT and HFE Press Brakes Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. Determine the correct set-up and operation of the machines to ensure accurate and precise bending and forming of metal components using various materials. Inspecting and measuring finished products to ensure that they meet the required specifications and quality standards. Select appropriate tools, dies, and fixtures to produce the work. Material Handling including loading and unloading sheet materials into the machine. Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of the machine to ensure its optimal performance. Identify and report any defects to deviations Following all safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment Keeping equipment and work areas clean and well maintained. Collaborating with other members of the manufacturing team to complete projects on schedule. What are we looking for?
