Role: Assembly OperativeStart date: Immediate StartLocation: Stowmarket, SuffolkHours: 07:00-15:30 (40 hours)Salary: 13ph+ (WEEKLY PAY) and regularly overtime availableWe are looking for an Assembly Operative to work in a mechanical capacity, anyone with experience in automotive trade would be of huge advantage.Starting salary 13ph+ with training provided. Overtime is also regularly available, all at increased rates of pay. There is a salary review with the possibility of a pay rise following your probation. You will be reporting to the Production Supervisor and will be involved with the production of engines using hand / power tools.Duties: - Complete assembly of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic components by reading engineering drawingsOperating various hand, air, and power tools to manufacture machinery in a timely mannerPerform component re-work as and when neededResponsible for picking parts to a pick list accuratelySupporting the rest of the team by testing and preparing parts for final dispatchIdeally you will have a manufacturing background with some form of engineering qualification.
