We are looking for an organised and detail-oriented Payroll Administrator on a part-time basis. Working 22.5 hours per week with a flexible schedule, you will be responsible for supporting the accurate and timely processing of four separate payrolls while also assisting with pension administration.

Key Responsibilities

• Process and administer payrolls, ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time
• Maintain and update payroll records including new starters, leavers, and changes to pay or deductions
• Calculate statutory payments such as SSP, SMP, and other payroll adjustments where required
• Support pension administration including enrolment, contributions, and communications
• Liaise with HR and finance teams to ensure payroll data is accurate and up to date
• Ensure compliance with relevant payroll legislation and internal procedures
• Respond to payroll-related queries from employees in a timely and professional manner
• Assist with payroll reporting and reconciliations as required

About You

• Previous experience in a payroll administration role
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good understanding of payroll processes and statutory requirements
• Experience supporting workplace pensions and auto-enrolment processes would be an advantage
• Confident using payroll software and Excel
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple payrolls and prioritise workload effectively
