Diagnostic Vehicle Technician - Kidlington-

We are working on behalf of our client, a prominent UK Automotive Dealer Group, to recruit a Skilled Diagnostic Vehicle Technician for their reputable franchise-approved Dealership located in Kidlington, Oxfordshire. Duties:

• Perform ongoing diagnostics on a variety of vehicles as a Diagnostic Vehicle Technician, identifying issues accurately using modern diagnostic tools
• Carry out complex warranty repairs and service tasks ensuring adherence to manufacturer standards
• Utilise your expertise as a Diagnostic Vehicle Technician to diagnose electrical and mechanical faults effectively
• Support and mentor Apprentice Vehicle Technicians, sharing knowledge and expertise to aid their development
• Assist less experienced colleagues with diagnostics and repairs, helping to improve team efficiency
• Contribute to maintaining high standards of quality and safety within the workshop environment
• Accurately record all diagnostics, repairs, and servicing work performed

Requirements:

• Qualified to IMI/NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
• Proven experience as a Diagnostic Vehicle Technician or Master Vehicle Technician
• Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical vehicle systems, with competency in complex diagnostics
• Experience with EV systems and hydraulic repairs is desirable but not essential
• Hold a valid UK driving licence with minimal points
• A dedicated, team-oriented individual who demonstrates a mentor mindset
• Ability to produce high-quality work in a busy, fast-paced dealership environment
• Motivated to meet targets and deliver excellent customer service
