Driver Hire Colchester are currently recruiting for a Dustcart Driver.

We are seeking an experienced and reliable HGV driver to work with one of our clients operating dustcart/refuse collection vehicles in the Colchester area.

Job Details:

• Pay rate: -17.00 per hour
• Monday to Friday work
• Early morning starts
• Ongoing and ad hoc work available
• Immediate start

The Role:

• Driving and operating refuse collection (dustcart) vehicles
• Working as part of a collection team on residential or commercial routes
• Ensuring collections are completed safely, efficiently and on schedule
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks
• Following all health & safety procedures

Requirements:

• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence preferred
• CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph card
• Previous refuse or dustcart experience advantageous but not essential
• Good understanding of safety procedures
• Reliable and team-focused attitude
