Contracts Manager

to oversee the delivery of infrastructure schemes across the Midlands, with a focus on the Sprint framework, an ambitious transport initiative designed to improve bus connectivity and reduce congestion across key corridors.About The Project

The project involves the creation of dedicated bus lanes and priority routes along major transport corridors, including:A-road connecting Walsall to BirminghamA-road linking Solihull and Birmingham Airport to Birmingham city centreThe works include utility diversions, bus stop construction, and enhancements to public transport infrastructure supporting faster, more reliable journeys across Birmingham.Key Responsibilities Of The Contracts Manager Role

Lead civils schemes from EDI stage through to successful deliveryBuild strong, collaborative relationships with clients and stakeholdersOversee planning, programming, and site coordinationManage site teams and supply chain partners to ensure safe, timely executionCollaborate with Pre-Construction teams to shape and influence project programmesMonitor contractual programmes and update cost forecasts with the commercial teamCoach and develop team members to support career progressionProcure materials, plant, and subcontractors in line with project targetsSupport identification of future work opportunities across the regionThe Ideal Contracts Manager Candidate
