Senior Quality Manager

to join our Product Integrity team. This role will report into Head of Product Integrity and be responsible for establishing and maintaining a robust Quality Management System (QMS) that ensures the consistent delivery of high-quality cosmetic products. This role drives continuous improvement, ensures regulatory compliance, and fosters a culture of quality excellence across the organisation and its supply chain. By proactively identifying and mitigating risks, the Quality Manager safeguards product integrity, enhances customer satisfaction, and strengthens the brand''s reputation for quality.

The Role

Your daily to-dos might look like this:

Quality Management System (QMS) Leadership:

Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive QMS aligned with relevant industry standards, regulations, and retailer requirementsConduct internal audits to assess QMS effectiveness and drive continuous improvementEstablish and revise quality policies, procedures, and objectives in collaboration with cross-functional teamsEnsure a seamless process from RandD through to industrialisation of new products

Continuous improvement

Identify priority areas for continuous improvement to ensure process repeatability in strong collaboration with QA ManagerIndustrialisation of New Products : ensure a seamless process from RandD through to industrialisationSupplier Quality: assessment and resolution of supply quality issues. Working with QA Manager requirements for new suppliers identification; develop continuous improvement program with suppliersDocumentation: development and maintenance of standard operating procedures

Supplier Quality Management:

Collaborate with the procurement/QA Manager to evaluate and qualify suppliers based on their quality capabilitiesConduct supplier audits and assessments to ensure adherence to quality standardsDrive continuous improvement efforts with suppliers, addressing non-conformances and implementing corrective actionsEstablish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to foster a collaborative quality-focused environment

Training and Development:

Provide training and guidance to employees on quality management principles and practicesDevelop and deliver educational programs to enhance quality awareness and competency

Performance Measurement and Reporting:

Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of the QMSPrepare quality reports and present findings to senior management, identifying areas of improvement and recommending action plansParticipate in management reviews to evaluate the overall performance of the QMS and provide recommendations for enhancement.

Requirements

These skills will help you go far in this role:

BSc. required in pharmaceutical cosmetic science/ technical disciplineDemonstrable experience in Quality working within FMCG/Cosmetics/RetailersDemonstrated understanding and leadership of QMS within cosmeticsA self-starter who can identify, manage and lead complex projects , drive change, communicate and build collaborative partnerships across the businessSolid analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and analyse data/processes effectivelyOrganised and able to work independently, but also to collaborate with a diverse, fast-moving teamLean sigma sixExcellent organisational and communication skillsAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
