You will take pride in your work whilst working closely with all team members to deliver exceptional standards. You must have good health and safety awareness in relation to working with hazardous substances, working to heights and appropriate risk assessments. You must be able to demonstrate the ability to deal with face-to-face and telephone customer enquiries.You will embrace every opportunity to create extra special moments for our guests to provide a personal experience our guests will want to share.Joining the dedicated housekeeping department, you will:Completing effective painting (both repair work and preventative work) for the whole hotel.Ensuring that all paint supplies are at agreed colour codes and are used in the correct areas.Carrying out day to day painting requests as detailed in the Hotel Service Pro system.Liaising with Executive Housekeeper on a daily basis to record completed work.Working flexibly to suit business levels.Ensuring all painting work is carried out within the perimeters of Health and Safety Legislation.Supporting the Maintenance and Housekeeping departments with completion of items from each monthly walk round as directed by Executive Housekeeper.Providing assistance to the Maintenance Manager as requested.As a Painter, you will have excellent attention to detail in order to provide consistent standards. This is a vital role in the function of the hotel and ultimately the service provided to our guests before, during and after their stay. You will be a great at multi-tasker, you will be efficient and self motivting to complete tasks in a timely fashion and you will always have a smile for our teams and guests. We want you to be yourself here, bringing your infectious personality which helps makes Apex who we are.On your first day you will begin a structured 12 week learning journey, giving you the skills, knowledge, and confidence to be a great Painter. With this in mind, we are looking for a Painter who:Can deliver excellent standardsIs self-aware and able to evaluate their own workHas the ability to multi-task and provides excellent attention to detailExperience of working as a painter and decorator is essential.Knowledge of different types of paints and finishes.Knowledge of basic decorating techniques.Knowledge of basic filling techniques.We encourage you to bring your true self to work - we recruit for attitude and train for skill.
