Job Summary

Our client who are going through a period of growth are seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicle makes and models. Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify faults and issues.
• Perform repairs and maintenance tasks including engine diagnostics, brake repairs, suspension work, and electrical system troubleshooting.
• Use hand tools and power tools effectively to carry out repairs with precision.
• Test vehicles post-repair to ensure proper functioning before returning to customers.
• Maintain detailed records of all work carried out on each vehicle.
• Assist in ordering parts and managing inventory to ensure smooth workflow.
• Adhere strictly to health and safety regulations during all tasks, including heavy lifting procedures when handling large or heavy components.
• Provide excellent customer service by explaining repair work clearly and professionally.

Requirements

• Proven experience or strong knowledge of vehicle mechanics is essential.
• Level 3 qualified or Equivalent
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when handling vehicle parts or equipment.
• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in diagnosing issues and documenting work.
