Electrical Installations Lecturer Temporary/Hourly Paid Role Location: Greater London (further education college) Pay Rate: Competitive (hourly, PAYE) About the Role We are working with a further education college in Greater London that requires an Electrical Installations Lecturer to deliver practical and theoretical courses in electrical installation (from Level 1 through Level 2, with possible delivery up to Level 3), for full-time and part-time learners. As the Electrical Installations Lecturer, you will: Deliver and assess practical and theory based lessons in electrical installations (e.g. wiring, installation, safety, fault-finding) across Level 1 and Level 2 courses Prepare learning resources and course materials; set up practical workshop sessions Monitor and support student progress, attendance, and achievement to maximise success Carry out administrative and assessment responsibilities, keeping accurate records Provide guidance and mentoring to learners, ensuring high standards of practical work and safety Where required, support apprenticeships or pre apprenticeship programmes, liaising with external employers Typical working hours are approximately 35 hours per week, but scheduling may vary depending on course demand. Who We re Looking For Required: A recognised vocational qualification in Electrical Installations (e.g. City and Guilds, NVQ, or equivalent trade qualification) Strong practical experience working as an electrician or in electrical installation ..... full job details .....
