We are currently seeking a Mobile HGV Trailer Technician on behalf of our Client, an Automotive transport and logistics company based in the Derby area.

The successful HGV Trailer Technician can expect a salary of up to £44000 with OTE of circa £54000 and working hours of Monday- Friday 8:30 - 5:00pm.

Duties:

- Carry out routine inspections, servicing, and repairs on HGV trailers
- Completion of Job Sheets and Documentation
- Liaising with the Service Department and Parts Department
- Completion of MOT preparation
- Participate in ongoing product and industry training, including IRTEC, tail lift, BPW and SAF axle/brake training to continuously develop your expertise.
- Follow all health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe and secure work environment.

Requirements:

- Semi-trailer or Heavy Vehicle experience essential
- City and Guilds or NVQ Qualification (or equivalent) essential
- HGV Class 1 driving licence.
- Car Driving Licence.
- IRTEC accreditation.
- EBS diagnostics experience, including Knorr Bremse, Haldex, and WABCO systems.
- Welding certification.
- Training or experience with axle manufacturers such as BPW, SAF, or JOST.
- Tail lift training and experience.
- Double deck or lifting deck maintenance experience
