If so, this will be a key, varied Supply Chain Project Management role working for a leading manufacturing business, working across engineering, purchasing, manufacturing and quality to focus on source changes, supplier transitions, and movement of work to alternative suppliers.Your key responsibilities as Supply Chain Project Lead / Project Manager will be:Leading and managing source change projects, including the relocation of production lines, parts, or products to new suppliers, domestically or internationally.Collaborating cross-functionally with Procurement, Quality, Engineering, and Manufacturing to identify and qualify new suppliers.Developing and managing detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and risk mitigation strategies.Coordinating qualification processes to validate new supplier capabilities.Tracking and reporting progress to stakeholders, escalating issues proactively and providing solutions.Conduct supplier visits or virtual assessments as needed to evaluate readiness, capacity, and technical capability.Support cost reduction initiatives by identifying alternative sources and optimising ..... full job details .....
