Responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining Google Cloud core infrastructure and resources to support our businessAutomate infrastructure provisioning and management using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and CI/CD DevSecOps toolsMonitor and troubleshoot cloud environments ensuring high availability and performanceWork with Information Security, assist in the implementation and management of security best practices, including access control, data encryption and threat detectionCollaborate with development teams to integrate cloud solutions with existing applications and systemsStay up-to-date with the latest Google Cloud technologies and industry best practicesParticipate in the evaluation and selection of new cloud-based technologies and servicesContribute to the improvement of cloud operations and processesWhat you''ll bring:

Proven experience working as a Cloud Engineer in Google Cloud PlatformStrong understanding of cloud computing concepts and their Google Cloud implementation including networking, storage and security as well as other concepts such as SaaS, PaaS and IaaSExperience and understanding of enterprise patterns and best practices around building out GCP for a regulated organisation (e.g. Landing Zones, Enterprise foundations blueprint, network and connectivity options, etc.)Proven experience with DevSecOps practices (e.g. Git, CI/CD) and tools such as Google Cloud DevOps, Cloud Build, GitHub Enterprise and GitLabStrong proficiency with Terraform (IaC), Docker and Kubernetes (containization technologies) are strong advantagesSolid understanding of Google Cloud Identity and Access Management (IAM) and Role-Based Access Control (RBAC)Experience with scripting languages, e.g. PowerShell, Bash and PythonStrong communications and collaboration skills with the ability to produce clear documentation in corporate Wiki toolsExperience of other Cloud Service such as Microsoft Azure and AWS, is also a strong plusRights to work in Dublin are strongly preferredAll third-party applications will be managed by Robert Walters.Robert Walters Operations Limited is an employment business and employment agency and welcomes applications from all candidatesPandoLogic.
