Metalis Recruitment: An opportunity has arisen for a MIG Welder / Fabricator to join a manufacturing company based in Rotherham.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Set up, mark, & lay out (fabricate) tack & weld various jobs as instructed
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
• Measuring, cutting, and fabricating components to precise specifications.
• Operating hand tools, grinders, and cutting machinery.
• Performing quality checks to ensure all work meets required standards.
• Working to deadlines while maintaining high-quality output.

The company are looking for a Production Operative who has the following skills and experiences:

• Previous experience in MIG welding and fabrication.
• Structural Steel background/experience.
• Previous Tube/Pipe Welding experience ideal but not essential.
• Ability to work confidently from technical drawings.
• Knowledge of workshop safety and fabrication techniques.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality work.

Shifts & Salary:

• -16.00ph - Overtime available AFTER probation passed
• 8am-4:30pm Monday-Friday
• 12 Week Temporary - Permanent role
