Office Based positionParking is available3-6 month contractOur ClientMackie Myers have partnered with a rapidly growing automotive business in Oxfordshire to appoint a Management Accountant into their expanding finance team.The RoleThe Management Accountant is responsible for producing accurate monthly accounts, supporting budgeting and forecasting, and maintaining strong financial controls. The role includes reconciliations, PandL analysis, cashflow forecasting, and audit support, while working closely with senior stakeholders to deliver insights and drive process improvements across the finance function.Main DutiesProduce accurate monthly management accountsComplete balance sheet reconciliations and PandL variance analysisPrepare VAT returns and support statutory and audit requirementsMaintain and update weekly cashflow forecasts, analysing key variancesSupport budgeting and forecasting, liaising with managementContribute to systems improvements and act as systems administratorEnsure accurate stock records and manage stock takesProvide cover for AP, AR, and banking activities as requiredWork towards professional accounting qualificationThe Successful CandidatePart Qualified / Qualified (CIMA, ACA, ACCA, or equivalent)Experience in management accounting or financial support roles, within automotive, manufacturing, or engineering sectorsStrong analytical skills with excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilitiesProactive, detail-oriented, and motivated to ..... full job details .....
