Level 3 Teaching Assistant - KS1 - Supply Work - Sheffield - Start ASAP

Tradewind Recruitment are currently seeking passionate and experienced Level 3 Teaching Assistants to work on a supply basis in Key Stage 1 (KS1) classrooms across Sheffield. Contract Type: Flexible supply work - day-to-day and longer-term roles available
Pay: Competitive daily rates (dependent on experience)

About the Role: As a KS1 Teaching Assistant, you will support class teachers in delivering high-quality learning experiences to pupils in Years 1 and 2. Your duties will include assisting with lesson delivery and classroom activities, providing targeted support to individual pupils or small groups, encouraging pupil engagement and managing behaviour, and helping create a positive, inclusive learning environment.

What We''re Looking For:

• Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)

• Experience working within KS1 in a primary school setting

• A positive, proactive attitude and a genuine interest in supporting children''s learning

• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one

• Flexibility and reliability to travel to different schools in the Sheffield area
