Job: Deputy Care Manager Elderly/Dementia Residential HomeLocation: GloucesterSalary: £35,000 per yearHours: 40 hours per week (including 2 shifts on the floor)We are looking for an experienced and compassionate Deputy Care Manager to join our elderly and dementia residential service in Gloucester. This is an excellent opportunity to support the Registered Manager in leading a stable, dedicated team while maintaining high standards of person-centred care. This is a hands-on leadership role, with two shifts per week working on the floor, supporting residents and leading by example.Key Responsibilities:Support the Registered Manager with the day-to-day running of the homeLead, motivate and develop the care teamEnsure high standards of care for elderly residents, including those living with dementiaOversee care planning, risk assessments and medication managementSupport with audits, compliance and CQC requirementsAct as a role model on shift, promoting dignity, respect and person-centred careAssist with staff supervisions, training and rota planningRequirements:Previous experience in a senior care or deputy manager role within a residential settingStrong understanding of elderly and dementia careSound knowledge of CQC standards and safeguarding proceduresNVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (Level 5 desirable or willingness to work towards)Strong leadership and communication skillsA hands-on, supportive management styleWhat We Offer:Salary circa £35,000 per year40-hour ..... full job details .....
