Jackson Hogg is delighted to be recruiting for a-Senior Mechanical Engineer-to join an innovative engineering organisation specialising in advanced subsea robotic systems and offshore technology.

As a-Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will work within a highly collaborative R&D team contributing to the design and development of next-generation subsea vehicles and complex offshore subsystems operating in some of the most challenging environments on the planet. The Senior Mechanical Engineer will play a key role in concept generation, engineering analysis, and prototype development for advanced robotic systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop innovative mechanical systems and subsystems as a-Senior Mechanical Engineer-within a specialist R&D team
• Deliver robust engineering designs supported by calculations, analysis, and technical justification
• Lead and contribute to design reviews, ensuring engineering quality and technical integrity
• Support prototype build, testing, and evaluation of new technologies and mechanical assemblies
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams and external partners to develop advanced solutions

Requirements

• Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering, Naval Architecture, Aerospace Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline
• Extensive experience working as a Mechanical Engineer or Senior Mechanical Engineer within an engineering or product development environment
• Strong experience using-3D CAD tools-such as-Autodesk Inventor-or similar
• Experience carrying out-engineering calculations-and-analysis using tools-such as-Mathcad
• Proven experience designing complex mechanical systems, machinery, vehicles, or engineered structures
