Job title: Head of Maths
Location: Lamledge School, Shifnal, Shropshire
Hours: 40 hours per week; Monday to Friday
Contract: Permanent, Term Time only

About the roleWe are looking for a Head of Maths with both curriculum knowledge and experience of applying this in a specialist SEMH setting based in Shifnal, Shropshire. You will have the opportunity to create and tailor the curriculum as well as access high quality CPD to help pursue your own personal goals.
Responsibilities
Lead the Maths Department to achieve high academic expectations and to incorporate relevant developments in pedagogy.
Ensure the successful delivery of Maths teaching so that all pupils consistently fulfil their academic potential.
Provide a varied co-curricular programme and support a well-planned programme of teaching and learning.
Monitor pupils closely and manage staff professionally to enable all to flourish.
Who we are looking for
Experience and understanding of SEMH and ASD, enabling positive relationships and adaptability to pupil needs.
Education to degree level and/or Qualified Teacher Status with curriculum development experience.
Calm, engaging, resilient, and innovative teaching style focused on helping every child reach their potential.
Strong commitment to social and emotional development and personalised curricula with positive reinforcement.
